Experience a new level of wellness at OM | Zen Garden, where we offer cold water therapy to help you achieve your health goals.

Our cryotherapy sessions involve immersing yourself in an ice bath or cold plunge, which has been linked to numerous benefits for both physical and mental well-being.

Our expert staff will guide you through the process and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Heat Therapy

At OM | Zen Garden, we believe in using heat therapy to promote relaxation and stimulate various physiological responses.

Our modality of choice is infrared saunas, which use heat to penetrate deeper into the skin to increase circulation and oxygenation. Our hot baths provide a similar effect, using hot water to relax muscles and joints, ease tension, and soothe the mind.

We are committed to providing a space where you can unwind, relax, and rejuvenate your mind and body.

At OM | Zen Garden, offers Zen Movement, an expanded wellness program designed to suit all fitness levels and interests. Whether you're seeking relaxation, strength-building, or a dynamic workout, Zen Movement offers a range of classes to help you achieve your wellness goals.

  • Zen Flex: Join these classes to experience a unique and invigorating workout involving swinging kettlebells, clubs, and other related exercises. Zen Flex is designed to improve your strength, endurance, and overall fitness.

  • Zen Kickboxing: A perfect blend of martial arts and fitness, designed to help you improve your cardio, strength, flexibility, and self-defense techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a series kickboxing drills and exercises that will challenge your body and mind.

  • Intro to Jiu Jitsu: Ideal for beginners, this class introduces you to the basics of Jiu Jitsu in a supportive and confidence-building environment. Learn self-defense, improve your fitness, and prepare to join our Jiu Jitsu academy with guidance from skilled instructors.

Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Instructor

Mark Lim is an experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor at Zen Jiu Jitsu Academy. Mark has accumulated years of training, teaching, and competition experience since 2009. Mark practices a strategic style of Jiu-Jitsu focused on foundational techniques, longevity, and overall health. His instructional principles involve an ecological approach to learning, utilizing kinesthetic, positional, and resistance-based drilling techniques.

Mark earned his Blackbelt under Matheus Lutes of Royal Jiu Jitsu, a distinguished blackbelt from Marcelo Garcia's lineage. Mark has won a Master Worlds... read more

Alex Vargas

Grappling and Mindful Movement Coach

Alex is a dedicated practitioner, coach and mentor with Zen Jiu Jitsu at OM | Zen Garden. Training under Mark Lim, 15+ years of Jiu-Jitsu/Martial Arts training and Division 1 Collegiate Wrestling at University of Maryland, Alex has a wide range of grappling and weight lifting skills that he'll be sharing with our members and athletes.

Michael Petrizzo

Jiu Jitsu and Judo Coach

Mike, also known as "Kimura Mike," is a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu and has been training for the past 6 years. With a strong foundation in martial arts, Mike also holds a brown belt in Judo, which he seamlessly integrates into his Jiu Jitsu coaching. His approach to teaching is rooted in technique, strategy, and creating a supportive environment for all students. Join one of his classes to experience the blend of Judo precision and Jiu Jitsu mastery that defines "Kimura Mike."

Johnny Vegas

Jiu Jitsu and Ecological Approach Coach

With over 15 years of training and nearly a decade of coaching experience, Johnny Vegas brings a unique perspective to the mat, grounded in an ecological approach to learning. Utilizing the Constrained Learning Approach (CLA) and its four principles, Coach Johnny focuses on fostering skill acquisition through direct, experiential learning. This methodology not only enhances technical proficiency but also cultivates intrinsic knowledge and adaptability in practitioners. Coach Johnny’s passion lies in guiding students to discover their own paths to mastery, ensuring they develop both skill and insight in their grappling journey.

He has a “Keep it real!” attitude that is approachable for all levels.
